Hi there, looking at your post date, I guess by now you gotten over it already. I'm a full-time tutor myself and I understand your agony. I've primary students whom I'm at my wits end. Even when I talked loud and firm, they could still laugh it off. Whether they learn sth or not depends on their moods. Guess I'm not stern-looking so they think can fool around. Telling parents about their behaviour have little use because the child only realize the consequence at the end of lesson. Moreover, it's bad for parents to think that the tutor is unable to teach. Blood may boils during lesson and have ineffective feeling but must get over it quickly.
Some agencies demand their commission right after half a month, so of cos I'm worried if service terminates shortly, I get nothing. If this happens, I'm sure the agency has clause to safeguard their interest and left with goodwill on how to settle it. Count it as bad luck and it probably won't happen again. I understand how crossed it must be to deal with rude people. There's no law against rude people unless they insult you. Law aside, go do some enjoyable activities to calm yourself and inject some good feelings. Don't let rude people bother you for long.
Are you still teaching tuition? I'd be glad to make some friends with tutors.
